Lillian Sabin, of Cheboygan, enrolled at 乌鸦传媒 in 2023, working toward a degree in business marketing/finance. She anticipates graduating in 2025.
With the support of North Central鈥檚 Career Services, she obtained a job shadowing/interning position with Real Estate One during the 2023-2024 school year. She worked with different real estate agents to get a feel for what that career entailed.
Sabin says, 鈥淢y parents and professors at North Central have helped me so much in planning for a future in business. Career Services pointed me in the right direction career-wise and provided me with this great opportunity to job shadow at Real Estate One.鈥�
Ethan Swiger was one of the agents working with Lillian during her job shadowing experience. Swiger states, 鈥淩eal estate has provided so many enjoyable experiences over my 25-year career. It was a pleasure sharing my passion for the industry along with what goes on behind the scenes. Lillian is a bright student; I wish her the best in whatever carer she settles into.鈥�
Sabin is returning to North Central this fall to complete her degree as well as work as a resident assistant in the dorm. She plans to work toward obtaining her bachelor鈥檚 degree and eventually opening her own business. Her advice to students: 鈥淣o matter what career you are seeking, reach out to career services and see what opportunities they can provide for you.鈥�
